1.     What is the difference between Staging and Redesign?

3.      Why can’t I stage my own home?

Home sellers have a difficult time seeing their home objectively due to their emotional connection.  Professional home stagers know what works and what appeals to the majority.  We can make your home have that “model home” feel that will appeal objectively to buyers. 

4.     Why can’t my realtor help me stage my home?

5.     Can’t buyers see past the décor and use their imagination?

Actually, no.  Statistics have shown that only 10% of home buyers can see beyond the décor of a home to see it’s potential.  Professionally staged homes give buyers emotional connections to a home and help them visualize living there. 

6.     I don’t think I need to change a thing in my house to sell it.  It looks fine.

1.      What is the difference between Redesign and Staging?

Redesign is customizing a home to the owner’s personal taste and style.  Staging focuses on making a property appeal to the largest number of potential buyers by de-personalizing and neutralizing the home for sale. 

2.     What does the team at Consider It Staged do to redesign my home?

We will come in and evaluate your home for repairs needed, de-clutter your home and shop for additional items such as furniture and accessories, with proper placement in each room that you want redesigned. 

3.      What are the benefits of redesign?

Redesign helps the current homeowner to freshen their home to their specific taste, using what the homeowner has or by bringing in new items to enhance what is already there with personal taste and colors. 

4.     Don’t designers try to influence you with their style when decorating?

Actually, “re-designers” will help guide the homeowner in accomplishing the look the homeowner is after and teach them how to achieve their decorating goals. 

5.     Do I have to have high-quality, designer furnishings before I can hire the designers at Consider It Staged?

No, in fact, we pride ourselves in using what the homeowner already has on-hand and perhaps using it in a fashion not thought of by the homeowner.  We then accessorize with new or existing pieces to accomplish that “designer” look.  We usually get discounts at quite a few retail stores and pass them on to our homeowners.
